Web X.0 in education
Schools will provide the hardware to all students and make the devices personal and customizable. Learning applications will be based on student’s level of understanding and in the learning style they are most comfortable with.
Communication
Communication is vital to education and key to making a difference in the WebX.0 world it will be a way to connect students outside the walls of the classroom. The example in the book was to a twitter account of John Quincy Adams daily journal entries while he traveled from Boston to St. Petersburg to become ambassador to Russia.

Collaboration will change for both student and teaching as technology changes.

The use of the tools in classrooms as found increase in access to the internet on phones, iPods, iPads and similar devices. In developing counties that do not have the communications infrastructure, but have access to cell networks mobile phones are being used in education.

A browser window will become more of a personal start page customized with widgets, gadgets, and apps. Students will find and learn using tools that suit their learning style; possibly being able to select the method they learn best and have the lesson online that way.
Transparent, Integrated, Intuitive
All features in WebX.0 will be transparent and intuitive; just a click away and fully integrated. Google wave is a prototype of this product. Group projects can be put online to develop
Intelligent Search
Searching more than just words, with advances in technology logical thought can be brought into play. Searches will become more targeted and accurate, and results more relevant.
Assessment
Track student test scores online to see what students need to learn.
Cloud Computing
As storage and infrastructure needs increase going to the cloud will be used more and more. Many businesses are currently outsources data centers.

Predicting the future an analysis of current trends, so we can only wait as see what will happen. Faster and cheaper is what you can hope for, but they must motivate, and keep them engaged in learning.
